Ernst Heubach dolls are usually marked on the back of the neck with the words Heubach Koppelsdorf. His porcelain factory was based in Koppelsdorf, Thuringia. There are many similarities between Heubach and Armand Marseille Dolls. The heads of both were made between 1885 to the 1930's. The two became related around 1919 when Armand Marseille's son married Ernst Heubach's daughter. The two factories then became merged resulting in their Bisque Doll Heads having similar Mold numbers for those between the numbers 250 to 452..
