Aristide M Halopeau

Aristide M. Halopeau is the maker of the famous H Mold. These heads are extremely rare and are of a very high quality. They are marked with the size number followed by the letter H, usually under the rim of the head. The heads are pressed which points to them being dated to pre 1890. It is believed that Halopeau may have started the business around 1880. H dolls tend to have squarish faces with paperweight eyes and closed mouths. H dolls heads have often been found on Jumeau bodies.

Halopeau ceased business in 1889 so production was limited making these dolls a collectors dream.
