Pedigree Toys

Pedigree Dolls and Toys was a subsidiary of a company called Lines Bros and was most famous for creating the Sindy Doll.

Lines Bros was formed by two brothers, George and Joseph Lines in the mid 1800's. There main line was baby carriages and wooden toys.

The Pedigree name was first registered in 1931 was originally used as a trademark for prams.

As well as Sindy, Pedigree have manufactured dolls and soft toys such as the talking golly and Joe 90.
